12 Things I Did To Get Rid Of My Cancer and Lose 24 Pounds…Without Even Trying

Three years ago, I experienced a sharp pain while on vacation and decided to do a breast self-exam right away. To my personal disbelief, I discovered a pea-sized lump.

I made certain dietary and lifestyle changes immediately, eliminated certain foods, started juicing vegetables, and included cancer-fighting products into my diet.

As unbelievable as it seems, not only did I got rid of my cancer, I also lost 24 pounds without even trying. Ironically, I had been earlier trying really hard to lose those pounds, but my attempts always proved unsuccessful. This time, I melted away my fat while eating even more than before. In addition to this, my skin glowed, my bowel movements improved, and I started sleeping much better.

Along the way, the 12 things below helped my keep my health under control:

  1. Lemon water

Drinking lemon water in the morning helps get your digestive juices flowing and provide proper hydration. Adding a bit apple cider vinegar will provide even more benefits, such as improving blood pressure, regulating pH of the skin, etc.

  1. Tune in and listen

Always listen to the body and eat only when you feel hungry.

  1. Hydrate throughout the day

Adding a pinch of cayenne into lemon water helps eliminate toxins from the body and prevent the formation of calcifications or stones. Drink half of the body weight in ounces.

  1. Have a green smoothie for breakfast, four times a week

Starting the day with a green smoothie is an ideal way to get all the nutrients required for the day.  Here is one recipe: coconut water, 1 tablespoon hemp, 1 cup spinach or kale, ¾ cup pineapple. and ice.

  1. Balance your acid-forming foods (proteins like eggs, meat) with green veggies

For instance, combine eggs with veggies like steamed broccoli or spinach.

  1. Try to have a green juice daily (even if it’s not for breakfast)

Drinking green juice made of ginger, lemon, kale, cucumber, and chlorophyll detoxifies the body and provides anti-inflammatory properties.

  1. Strictly limit or omit packaged foods

Avoid packaged foods and opt for whole fruits, veggies, seeds, and nuts.

  1. Support your thyroid and include iodine-rich sea veggies into your diet

Add seaweed to soups or snack on nori chips.

  1. Limit animal protein intake

    Limit animal protein intake and replace it with avocado, lentils, and pumpkin seeds a few times weekly.

  2. Make Sunday a soup day

Prepare larger amount of veggie soup on the weekend and freeze leftovers for days when you might not be able to cook.

  1. Connect with nature on a daily basis

Spend as much time as possible outdoors. Getting your feet on the grass or lying down with the head on the grass are great ways to connect with nature.

  1. Dry-brush your skin with a soft skin brush before showering

This helps remove dead skin cells and toxins which are leaving the body through the skin.
